It is what it is ...Parents and Nannies Part 2

I am going to start off this morning by being thankful to see another day.I said I was going to continue the topic that I was on yesterday and that’s Nannies and Parents.

Nannies need to be respectful of parents and remember this is a job nothing more,nothing less.

Yes, this type of job can have your heart going all over the place, because there are times you forget it’s a job because your looking the kids in their eyes or they might say the sweetest thing and you get so weak. Then theirs the parents that sometimes adore you and make you feel that you’re the best nanny ever that’s until they have a bad day at work or they speak to one of their coworkers who might have a little experience in having a nanny and think they should take their advice.

Parents don’t let anyone tell you how to run your household, every situation is different and you have to deal with it accordingly. It is so sad sometimes to see that the Parents have Bachelors and all types of degree but simple thing as common sense they are lacking off.

Nannies at the end of the day, that’s your boss dumb or not, they choose you to be their nanny for a reason and that’s to pick up they left off, and don’t you forget it.

Parents a lot of you underestimate your nannies and forget that they might or might not have kids of their own, but yet the way they act like their kids is a different species and it’s the first time you are dealing with this kind right here.

Give the nannies a break they know what they doing.Nannies keep an open communication with the parents, let them know what is going on, let them be a part of their kids lives even if it's from behind their desk.Send a picture/video of the kid doing something.

That usually shut them up and keep them smiling all day.Parent let the nanny know that was thoughtful of her and she can do it as she pleases, now you realize I said as she chooses, that’s because it's not in the job description to send a pic of your child and you are not paying for the nanny phone bill.

So again, Parents and Nanny know your place.

So am going to talk about a topic that some people choose to tip toe around but not me .I have been a nanny from 2001-2007 and I had a very good experience with one family .I cannot and will not say that its the same for everyone .I have friends who are still in this field and I listen to them complain all the time .Its sad that something so joyful and pleasant turns out so unpleasant and cruel at times .Lets just say that you expect the kids to be the one that gives the trouble when its the other way around .The kids loves and adores  the nannies and the nannies feel the same towards them .Yes when the parents arrive home from work and the kids is still showing the nannies the same affection that was given to them the entire day ,sometimes the parents will feel a little ignored even jealous .Why do they feel this way I don't know ,please don't underestimate your kids parents ,they know who you are and they love you more than you ever know .Then my suggestion is letting the nannies leave to go home immediately from the time you enter the door ,some parents do, but then there are the parents that mean the nannies have to work the exact time they getting pay for which is 8am to 5pm and then complain when the kids are more open to the nannies.When the real question should be, do you want a nanny or a maid ?A nannies responsibility is to take care of the kids but some parents will have the nannies doing all type of stuff that is not in there job description for example ,washing their clothes ,making grocery, signing for packages, parents need to stop being so lazy and you all damn well know these jobs don't have anything to do with the kids  . .Sometimes Nannies complain about the parents having them stay a little longer 15-20mins so they can tell them exactly what they did with the kids for the day ,which is only right. How about the parents coming home a little earlier to hear what the nannies did or calling them during the day to find out how their kids day is going or the next morning. I will continue this topic ,I will try not to be bias...but it is what it is and nothing else

Time ....where did it go ?

Wow woke up this morning and wanted to pour my heart out, much to my surprise I don't believe that am still here on this site . I guess there is really nothing you can do on the internet and think will eventually go away .Thank God I never give a peep show hahaha .Will you believe its 2014 it seems like just the other day I was on here writing crazy  .I don't feel a day older ,no pains in my joints yet ,I try and exercise everyday at least 30-45 mins  . Yes I see myself looking older in pictures but I still remain with that bubbly spirit . I did so many things in that year ,lets say I tried out so many things...Medical Billing ,CNA ,opening a small cleaning  business,writing a book ...halfway there .No am not crazy am just living my life like its golden and to the fullest .We have one life to live and they say if you live it right then that's all you need one chance .So am going to put my hand into everything I want to.I really will like to travel but you got to get money to do so.  Yes Guys am not the average Jane ,I am just looking for a niche ...What it is? I don't know but this is what I know ,while am going down this path looking for the niche I would do it with dignity,kindness ,honesty and respect to others .If I don't find what am looking for ,I will  still have what no money can buy and that a Peace of mind .
